Public transportation is not the best option to move around in Memphis city. Distances are very large and the travel time is quite high. Also, schedule is limited and if you carry a lot of luggage with you, we recommend to take a taxi or a transfer instead. 

MATA BUS 28 - public transportation

Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) provides public transportation service from MEM Airport to Memphis downtown.

It runs to Airways Transit Center, FedEx Hub and American Way Transit Service.

Schedule

Service Hours: Monday through Friday from 6:42am to 6:23pm, Saturdays from 8:42am to 5:23pm, and Sundays from 8:42am to 5:43pm.

The bus stop is located facing Terminal C at baggage claim level, on outer drive.
